Wow, any reason for the delay?

@Solacetech no there is no specific reason. It's just how SXSW does things. The podcasts roll out month-by-month. They have a lot of panels to get through. They've launched others this month here in their June schedule. Meanwhile my video interview with Lena West for Studio SX about the panel was one of the first videos available. So, again, there's no reason, other than production from what I can see.

I wish I was there for this panel, and for the conference in general.

I'm a black programmer trying to get on the scene, but will just continue to put in my time.

Interesting just how very prophetic this panel was, given all that has transpired with the Presidential Campaign, Rev. Wright, Father Pfleger, etc.

@kristasphere - I guess you had to be there to understand. I wouldn't say it took us long to get into it, but I would say I was surprised that this opening appeared on the podcast. It comes directly from the SXSW site.

As we got ready to begin, we heard another panel other than our own coming through the sound system. We were trying to figure out what it was, but eventually SXSW staff took care of it. What you hear in the beginning is that other panel, then you hear some of us reacting to that other panel coming through our sound system. Basically, we had to wait until that audio was cut off so we could begin.

As soon as that happened, we went right into our intros.

Not sure you could pick up that's what was happening by listening. If I actually had a recording of this myself, I may have cut that opening out. And perhaps I should have on this version I ran on my site.
