Trent says: "Janet Jackson's halftime concert at Super Bowl XXXVIII was full of super sizzle to say the least. Her performance was extremely provocative beyond the fact that the Super Bowl event is usual a family affair. Well, Janet put a stop to all of that. During the R&B diva's show, pop heartthrob Justin Timberlake joined her in a sinful duet of his song "Rock Your Body." At the end of the performance, Justin rips off Janet's right breastplate from her outfit and . . . surprise! . . . Janet reveals a breast with a spikey piece of metal covering her nipple."
To which he adds..."Super Bowl officials are not happy with MTV (who produced the event) or with Janet. They released this statement:
"We were extremely disappointed by elements of the MTV-produced Halftime show. They were totally inconsistent with assurances our office was given about the show. It's unlikely that MTV will produce another Super Bowl halftime."
MTV issued a contrite statement, saying the incident was "unrehearsed, unplanned [and] completely unintentional." "
Trent's overall opinion: "Yeah . . . right. "
I agree with Trent. That thing had to be rehearsed. Did you see it? What did you think?

That was totally rehearsed! Janet's career is in the tank, so she is stooping to pretty pathetic measures to try to revive it. And how come Justin Timberlake is now the guy who gets to grab everyone's ass/boob on stage (remember Kylie Minogue)? He's not all that.

it was planed ofcourse...hope showing her ho-hah, helps future record sales. I for one was not impressed. You want to impress me Janet? Learn to play and insturment, take some vocal sessions and stop doing that studio singing.

at first, it happened so quick that i was like, "oops!"
but then, after watching it several times on morning news shows, i definitely think it was planned.
afterall, he does say, "i'll you naked, by the end of this song."

I think the ripping away part was planned, just not the titty showing. And it's not a pasty, but a nipple ornament or ring.
A li'l titty ain't hurt nobody. LOL

It was planned. That's why the area of her outfit was removable... and you don't see him tryin' to help her cover it up after 'cause it wasn't a mistake.

Planned?!? Who cares about what they did.(Doesn't Justin look like he just sexually assaulted Janet?) The damn game was planned. Who the hell goes for two down five in the third. I lost money on the spread cause the scores got messed up. VEGAS run tings in sports, belee dat.
