gadget mania
so i'm working on a story that requires me to test out some of the latest pda/smartphones. i just finished receiving the full collection today and haven't really had the opportunity to test any of them yet, but i hope to be able to provide some mini reviews in the next couple of weeks. as i'm ready to place my sidekick II with something a little more grown and sexy, this story i'm working on couldn't have come at a better time.
the gadgets i'm checking out include:
cingular 2125 smartphone
cingular 8125 pocket pc
blackberry 8700c
tmobile mda
verizon xv6700
treo 700w
the cingular 8125 and tmobile mda are pretty much the same device known as the HTC Wizard. there's even a blog dedicated to the device.

Please provide updates on your test runs and when the story does get published -- give us your recommendation.
I'm ready to replace my $30 celly with something a little more grown and sexy, myself.
It's kinda of embarassing when the big journo players are busting out Blackberries and Treos and I pull out a monochrome (B&W screen) weak-ass cell phone.
I gotta step my game up!
The only reason why I have the phone is because its reliable and Verizon has been berry, berry, berry good to me.
But I'm getting tired of Verizon. They don't have a good selection of phones that are grown and sexy.
Lynne, help a playa who needs a sexy -- but reliable -- smartphone!

looking forward to your gadget review. i have a razr and it holds contact, appointment and bookmarks and takes decent photos and the video player is fun but basically useless. i want something a little more robust on the organizer/pda front. but i hate bulkiness. keep us posted on your test runs.

Palm just release the Treo 700p -- and like Prince says, "It's a Sexy Motherfucker!
Dropped that 700w and review the 700p! Other gadget heads say that the 700p is ten times better than the 700w.
I want to know if the 700p is the hot phone to get -- plus, my carrier has it, Verizon Wireless.
Holla back, baby!
Wooo-hoo, I need to get that 700p!
