ch-ch-ch-changes
My life is like a whirlwind lately. I've had some very good opportunities afforded to me this month.
For one, with J's assistance I finally got my site relaunched.
I'll be starting as senior editor of fastcompany.com next week.
Earlier this month I became a regular contributor to Popgadget.net.
I recently found out that Etiquette, a book I contributed to is finally coming out in Nov.
I got a call yesterday requesting that I write a major feature for a pretty solid new york publication. (More details to follow of course.)
We're getting closer and closer to the blogher conference, and I'm co-presenting a writing workshop with Lisa Stone on day one.
This all of course reminds me that I have to update my bio real soon.
There are other things on the horizon that also started to take root this month that I'm not ready to mention yet, but I figured that since this month ends tomorrow, I might as well share a few details.

Well, cot damn!
Lynne has jump off the Vibe train and is now in the fast lane with Fast Company.
Well, you go girl.
I've seen Fast Company in the bookstores but never bother to look into their pages.
Good luck on all of your future endeavors.
And try to enjoy the summer -- with all of this work you are doing, I would feel awful if you're not going out and having some fun in the sun.

Looks like you got a double helping on the "good things come in threes" vibe. Congratulations on all of it.
I used to buy the paper copy of FC when it first started (and I believe i still have a couple of them around somewhere), but haven't read much in a long while. Ready to give it another go while it's under your stewardship.

thank you to the well wishers. i just feel blessed to even have anything going on considering the current volatile climate of the media industry.
for trent's response, i am especially appreciative...he's someone who knows firsthand about the struggle and setbacks i've had on my career journey.
again thanks to the well wishers...but truly i realize and understand that there is a power even greater than i that had i not had faith in or embraced...oh well, let's just say i'm not feeling like i'm the greatest person alive just because i've worked hard for many many years.
what i mean by that is simply that i know all too well that it often, and in many cases, only takes one paycheck to knock someone off a pedestal - so it's best to be humble. (you know the old adage...we're all just one paycheck away from being poor, or homeless, or something like that.)
