Social Media/Web Jobs: Start-Up, e-biz financial svcs

Co-Founder/IT Director
An early stage, educationally-oriented web start-up seeks a skilled Web Developer interested in an equity share co-founder position. The ideal partner will be an aggressive, focused entrepreneur with a broad vision and intense“ J.F.D.I.” mentality. Must be a creator and innovator with some knowledge of the Venture Capital and Angel investor communities, specifically in Silicon Alley. The specific skill-set required includes coding ability, proficiency with the LAMP stack, familiarity with Drupal and thorough knowledge of MySQL and other database applications. No financial investment required, but interested parties must be comfortable with early stage bootstrapping. Location in New York City or the greater Metropolitan area preferred. If interested in this opportunity, please contact K. Lane at visionqwestkl@gmail.com.

Manager for Online Communities & Social Collaboration - e-Business Development Group (eDG)
The e-Business Development Group is seeking a Manager for Online Communities & Social Collaboration to lead efforts related to the online dialogue about products, services, and/or capabilities. As part of the corporate eBusiness group, the manager will be at the center of many ongoing projects that each seek to deliver specific business value to one or more businesses. In many cases, the manager will guide the creation of new web destinations from concept through launch; in other instances, an existing web site may need to be paired with a new technology in order to meet both user and business needs. Strong communication skills are a must, as the role coordinates with lines of business, legal, editorial, design, information architecture, marketing, and technical development teams. The ideal candidate is passionate about online communities and knowledgeable about the leading social media collaboration tools. This is not a position for a "gear head", but the successful candidate will have a long track record of hands-on involvement in making new technologies work for business goals.
