Roberta Flack is truly an American Legend. She gave a magical and timeless performance. And Jessica Care Moore ... wow! What a phenomenal artist! There's a distant memory somewhere in my head of meeting her in Fort Greene so many years ago - maybe at Brooklyn Moon Cafe? Her poem and performance of it were both amazing. I'm glad I braved the cold to go.
